Participants in programs operated by Golden Prairie Parent Link Centre (GPPLC) and recipients of Parent Link Centre services can expect that all personal information provided will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. GPPLC will release personal information concerning a client only with the written permission of that client or their guardian, if we have reason to believe that a person is endanger of hurting themselves or someone else or ordered by a court/tribunal of competent jurisdiction.
This is any information that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact a specific individual. Golden Prairie Parent Link Centre collects as little information as necessary to allow for use in a secure database for program evaluation purposes. These databases are secured under government contract and information about individuals is only accessible to Golden Prairie Parent Link Centre staff. Certain publicly available information, such as names, addresses and telephone numbers as published in telephone directories, are not considered personal information.
Information such as telephone numbers and/or email addresses is not required but where voluntarily recorded on forms can be used by staff to notify people of various activities including programs, services, special events, and opportunities to volunteer. If at any time you wish to be removed from any of these lists, contact the Supervisor by phone at (403) 443-8502 or email: supervisor@goldenprairieplc.ca and we will gladly accommodate your request.
